The Mission and Objectives

The Event Vision

An athletic fundraising and public awareness event by men and women of the Armed Forces of the United States, past and present, in honor of the women and men who have respectfully served to lawfully uphold the highest American ideal, the Right to Life, by employing or volunteering at Crisis Pregnancy Centers across America and abroad.  This event serves to bring public attention to the noble and relevant mission performed at these centers by the individuals who staff them. Theirs is a mission of compassion, hope, forgiveness, restoration and the defense of innocent Human Life.

The Objectives

1.         To raise donations and public awareness in support of Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

See link above or click here “CPC Fundraising”

2.         To engage in a mission of evangelization by sharing the Good News found in the person of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The Event Mission Statement

Through the exercise of our Constitutional freedoms of religion, speech and assembly by publicly affirming a respect for the Sanctity of Human Life, from the point of conception to natural death, we seek to raise public awareness and funds for Crisis Pregnancy Centers, at home and abroad.

Through civil discourse, mutual respect and compassion we commit ourselves to assist in educating the American public on this vital and viable effort being put forth by individuals serving at Crisis Pregnancy Centers and the women and their unborn children they strive to serve and support.

It is not without this organization’s recognition that we all have fallen short of upholding American ideals, ethical standards or religious precepts, whether by grave error in judgment or by willful and intentional selfish ambition. But let it not be as in American history past, that our failures would collectively excuse us as a nation from our admission of error and guilt, our responsibility as a society and our restitution for the affected and pardon from the offended, if it only be for the mere ideal, standard or precept itself for the redemption of humanity.

We offer our military honors and recognition, our Sacred Oath of Enlistment, and our responsibility to duty, in support of the selfless work being done by the women and men serving at Crisis Pregnancy and Counseling Centers and to the Right to Life movement as a whole.

The Athletic Event

On Thursday, 31 July 2008 to Saturday, 02 August 2008 three military veterans are attempting a 3-day 300+ mile triathlon beginning just south of Point Conception, CA. and head south to the cross atop Mount Soledad Veterans Memorial in La Jolla, CA.

They are being supported by a crew of military veterans, members of FCA Endurance and International Christian Triathlon Network and other various organizations.

The event course includes a daily combination of ocean swimming, biking and running changing only for weather or road conditions or illness.
